Michael Jackson Had Planned Music Comeback Before His Death
Michael Jackson, who today died at 50 years of age, was attempting a comeback and a revival of his pop music career after years of negative headlines in the yellow press. His trial before the court is a few years back yet we haven’t forgotten it; the incredible acquittal on child molestation charges, unfortunately, remains a dark spot on the King of Pop’s history.
The L.A. Times:
In May, The Times reported that Jackson had rented the Bel-Air residence and was rehearsing for a series of 50 sold-out shows in London’s O2 Arena. Jackson had won the backing of two billionaires to get the so-called “King of Pop” back on stage.

Michael Jackson Shouldn’t Have Died!
…say millions of his fans across the world. Michael Jackson was indeed a pop star, if not the pop star – his nickname, “King of Pop”, was given to him for a good reason. Jackson’s pop music made friends and inspired his fans.
Michael Jackson’s backers envision the shows at AEG’s O2 as an audition for a career rebirth that could ultimately encompass a three-year world tour, a new album, movies, a Graceland-like museum, musical revues in Las Vegas and Macau, and even a “Thriller” casino. Such a rebound could wipe out Jackson’s massive debt.
Michael Jackson is dead as of June 26, 2009. Long live the King.
